This week I embark on 4 days on the road with White, where I will shoot and upload all my images on a daily basis.
So far it's proving harder than I thought. Today we left at 5am for the channel Tunnel, which meant a 4:15am rise, however due to a high workload I didn't get to sleep until 1pm. This lack of sleep has been further compounded by my awakening every hour in a panic that I had slept through my alarm, so what should have amounted to 3 hours of sleep turned into sporadic bursts of sleep punctuated with crippling panic and fear. So as you can see I'm off to a good start.
We have spent roughly 16 hours in the van on our journey to Belgium. I'm sure you can imagine a cramped van does not make for the most exciting pictures. However it's what you make it. After arriving in Belgium, I received an email stating that I had to get an edit done in an hour for Sony RCA sending to press. Cue coffee and more fear.
The night chilled out after that. We ate some pizza ( just a note on the pizza, who puts sweetcorn on a pepperoni pizza, really?) whilst listening to the Annie Mac show on Radio 1 as they were premiering Whites Living Fiction Single.
After that we had a short photo shoot as the apartment is GNARLY! I'll add some iphone photo's of the apartment at the bottom.
A good nights sleep and not spending 16 hours in the van tomorrow will make for more exciting photographs.
